I’m running as a progressive, pragmatic candidate because I want to help students focus on what truly matters: learning and growing, not getting lost in the stress and pressure of university life. My goal as Education Officer is to make sure that students have the support they need to succeed academically and feel empowered during their time at QUT.
University can be tough, and it’s easy to feel like you’re just ticking boxes to pass. I believe we need to refocus on learning, on making sure students are equipped with the right resources, and on cutting down unnecessary stress. Whether it’s making sure students get the academic assistance they need, providing more opportunities for feedback on assignments, or improving access to tools that make study easier, I’m here to help make that happen.
The Guild is a crucial institution at QUT, and it should be the first-place students turn to when they need help or want to get involved. My vision is for a Guild that’s actively working to support students, represent their views, and create a better university experience for everyone. We should be a Guild that listens, that acts, and that students trust.
This election is important because it’s a chance for students to choose representatives who genuinely care about their needs and will work to improve student life. I’m ready to be that representative and to make sure the Guild is a force for positive change at QUT.
