The QUT Student Guild received $2.272 million dollars of SSAF in 2023, while students paid almost $9 million to the University. Now, that might seem like a big number, but how does QUT compare to other universities around the country?

One of the many awards the university gives out each year is the QUT Budding Entrepreneur Scholarship, which is specifically awarded to budding student entrepreneurs who have shown a drive and passion for the pursuit of entrepreneurial success.

At the August Council meeting, the SRC passed a motion to support and actively participate in a campaign demanding the University change parking rates for students to $5 (capped) per day.
Future Queensland University of Technology students will be required to participate in a new mandatory and cross-disciplinary curriculum from 2025 called QUT You.
Guild provided “Little Emergencies” boxes were stolen from bathrooms across Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses, which has impacted the ability for new products to be distributed.

An increase in the public parking rate was implemented on 24 July 2023, and rates at both Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses will be increasing for QUT ID card holders from 21 August 2023.
