Press your lips upon my cheek
Can you feel the warmth?
My burning blood contains bitter thorns
That pierce my rose petal skin.
Stare into my pale blue eyes
Can you see the ocean?
The waves crash against the rocks,
Trying to kiss the sun.
Lay your head on my chest
Can you hear my heart?
It beats to the rhythm of your footsteps,
Pausing at the sight of you.
Hold my hand tight in yours
Can you sense the safety?
Intertwined limbs become our home,
The whole world at each fingertip.
