My name is Mason, and I am an engineering student at QUT.
As a candidate for Engineering Councillor with Revive, I’m committed to fighting for the needs of engineering students and ensuring we have a Guild that works for us. Right now, our campus culture is struggling, and many students feel disconnected from university life. The current Guild’s instability and frequent resignations have only made things worse. With Revive, we will build a stronger, more stable Guild that fights for students and delivers real results.
Engineering students face unique challenges, from managing heavy workloads to accessing practical resources like labs and project spaces. I’ll work to make sure that these essential resources are improved and made more accessible to all engineering students. I’ll also advocate for easing cost-of-living pressures, including reducing parking costs and providing affordable meal options on campus, so students have more reasons to come back to university and focus on their studies.
We deserve a Guild that supports us every step of the way, and that’s what Revive is all about – creating a campus culture where students feel valued and supported. By voting for me and the Revive team, you’re choosing a stronger future for engineering students at QUT.
