My name is Nick, and I am a fourth year Bachelor of Property Economics/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) student at QUT.
As a candidate for Clubs and Societies Officer with Revive, I am passionate about reviving our campus culture and empowering the clubs and societies that make QUT a vibrant, engaging place to study. Clubs and societies are at the heart of student life, and it’s time they received the support and resources they need to thrive.
If elected, I will ensure that all clubs and societies are fully funded, with membership funding and new grants available to support events. We’ll simplify the process for booking rooms, accessing storage, and advertising through Guild platforms, making it easier for clubs to operate smoothly. To further support student engagement, we’ll provide free catering for events at Botanic Bar and Grove Bar, and lower ticket fees for all club events.
We are committed to strengthening club leadership through the introduction of a new Club Executive Mentorship Program, where experienced leaders will provide guidance to emerging club executives. In addition, all clubs will receive up to eight hours of free professional photography annually to enhance their presence on social media.
To further support clubs, we will fund comprehensive training for Welfare Officers, ensuring club executives are equipped to handle issues effectively and responsibly.
Revive is dedicated to revitalising campus life by empowering our clubs and societies with the resources and support they need to thrive. Vote for Revive, and together we will create a more vibrant, dynamic student community at QUT.
