Hello, fellow students! My name is Hong Le, and I’m thrilled to serve as your Clubs and Societies Officer this year. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business with a focus on Human Resources and a minor in International Business at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), I’ve always been deeply committed to enhancing student engagement and fostering a sense of belonging within our vibrant campus community.
You might wonder what inspired me to take on this pivotal role. Well, let me share my story with you. As an active member of the QUT Bubble Tea Club, where I proudly hold the position of Secretary, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the power of clubs and societies in bringing students together, forging friendships, and creating memorable experiences. It was through my involvement in this club that I discovered the Clubs and Societies Officer position, recognising it as an incredible opportunity to further contribute to the campus life that I hold dear.
My passion for student engagement runs deep, fueled by a genuine desire to make every student feel valued, welcome, and included. I firmly believe that a thriving campus community is built on the foundation of active participation, diverse experiences, and meaningful connections. Thus, as your Clubs and Societies Officer, my primary goal this year is to amplify student engagement by embracing existing activities and introducing new, innovative initiatives that cater to the diverse interests of our student body.
So, what can you expect from me this year? Firstly, I’m committed to being fully immersed in campus life, actively participating in a wide array of activities and events. Whether it’s attending club meetings, organising workshops, or collaborating with student leaders, you’ll find me at the forefront, striving to create opportunities for you to connect, learn, and grow.
Additionally, I’m eager to harness the collective creativity and enthusiasm of our student community to develop fresh and exciting initiatives. From themed events and cultural celebrations to collaborative projects and community outreach programs, together, we can enrich the student experience and leave a lasting impact on our campus.
Beyond my role as Clubs and Societies Officer, I invite you to get to know me better. As the Secretary of the QUT Bubble Tea Club, I’m always up for a chat over a refreshing cup of bubble tea! Whether you’re a seasoned bubble tea aficionado or curious newcomer, our club welcomes all with open arms.
In conclusion, I am honoured to serve as your Clubs and Societies Officer and look forward to working tirelessly to ensure that every student feels valued, empowered, and connected within our vibrant community. Together, let’s make this academic year one to remember!
