My name is Coby, and I am a fourth year Business Management and Behavioural Science student at QUT.

As a 4th-year Business Management and Behavioural Science student at QUT, I am deeply passionate about ensuring that Business and Law students are given the voice and support they deserve throughout their university journey. The challenges we face—both administrative and academic—are undeniable. With Revive, I am committed to transforming our student experience by fostering a stronger, more stable Guild that actively champions our collective needs.

As a founder of the Society of Entrepreneurs and Vice President of BAMSA, I have seen firsthand the importance of a vibrant campus culture, where students feel empowered to explore both social and career opportunities in a safe, supportive environment. I believe in ensuring our campus is a place where everyone thrives, through better funding for clubs and societies and simplifying the processes that connect students with the university.

Through my full-time work at QUT, I see daily the gaps that exist between the faculty and students. These disconnects limit our experience, and I’m ready to bridge that gap—fostering stronger connections and processes to revitalise student life on campus. Whilst also advocating for a student voice against the university, because I see first-hand what happens if you don’t get the support, you deserve and are entitled to as a student as I will be working with Revive to help bridge the gap between the unknown.

I also recognise the strain of rising cost-of-living pressures, which is why I will advocate for initiatives like affordable meal options at Botanic Bar and Grove Bar, as well as improved access to essential resources to support our studies. Together, we can create a campus where every student feels heard, supported, and equipped to succeed. Vote for me and the Revive team, and let’s work together to create a university experience that truly meets our needs and interests.
