Slaps you weren’t
meant to borne.

You weren’t meant to be
cursed or battered.
You will find a way,
when you are broken.
Your silence won’t be
the common token.
You will find a way,
when you are down,
to erase the blemish
on your mind’s gown.
You will find a way,
when you are fallen,
to stand tall and glare
never to be crestfallen.
You will find a way,
when you are lost,
to get your dignity
back at any cost.
You will find a way,
and when you are there,
he will know the pain,
he made you bear.
You will find a way,
when you are shaken,
on the lighted path Allah
shines for those chosen.

to find peace and love
